The partnership, which follows a December 2025 memorandum of understanding, focuses on scaling production for critical defense assets including the PAC-3 MSE, THAAD, PrSM, and GMLRS programs. Hadrian plans to commission its first manufacturing cells in early 2027, creating a hybrid operational model that combines the company’s Opus software platform with Lockheed Martin’s established production expertise.
This on-site integration creates a flexible supply chain capable of shifting production workloads between the Grand Prairie facility and Hadrian’s broader national network of automated factories. According to Chris Power, CEO of Hadrian, the initiative is designed to move beyond peacetime production timelines by deploying advanced automation and workforce training directly into the defense contractor’s ecosystem. Tim Cahill, president of Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, described the move as a necessary shift in manufacturing strategy to meet current global demand with wartime urgency.
