The Electronic Frontier Foundation continues to broaden the reach of its free tool, which automatically learns to block invisible trackers by observing third-party scripts that attempt to follow users across the web. While the current update focuses on the desktop environment, the organization confirmed development is already underway to bring the same level of protection to Safari on iOS. This rollout follows a series of recent privacy initiatives from the EFF, including the publication of updated guides aimed at helping users navigate browser security and minimize their digital footprint across various platforms.

Following its established presence on Firefox and Chrome, the extension is now compatible with version 26.5 and later of Apple’s browser, marking a significant step in the foundation’s cross-platform privacy strategy.
