The initiative targets the critical window between July and early September, providing affordable entry points at a time when students have the most free time to cultivate long-term habits. Topgolf CEO David McKillips noted that the collaboration aligns with the company's objective to introduce 10 million new players to the sport by 2030. By leveraging Topgolf’s tech-driven venues, the partnership aims to lower the barrier to entry for youth who might otherwise be intimidated by traditional course environments.
Topgolf and Youth on Course Launch $5 Summer Access for Young Players
Beginning July 1, the sports entertainment giant Topgolf is partnering with the nonprofit Youth on Course to offer members discounted bay access. For $5, young golfers can practice their swings on weekday mornings through September 3, a strategic push to maintain momentum for the game’s fastest-growing demographic during summer break.

Adam Heieck, CEO of Youth on Course, emphasized that the program serves as more than a discount; it functions as a validation that the sport belongs to the next generation. With youth participation in golf climbing 40% over the last five years, both organizations view this summer as a pilot for a permanent, year-round model. The offer is valid Monday through Thursday from open until noon, bridging the gap between recreational entertainment and dedicated skill development.
