Industrial Leaders Converge for 13th National Forklift Safety Day
More than 450 industry professionals gathered at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., on June 9 for the 13th annual National Forklift Safety Day. The event, which reached a global audience via live stream, centered on the urgent necessity of evolving safety cultures and integrating advanced technology into warehouse operations.

Jim Mozer, ITA Chairman and Senior Vice President at Crown Equipment, noted that the high level of engagement confirms safety as the industry's primary operational pillar. Brian Feehan, President of the Industrial Truck Association, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that as material handling technologies advance, the mandate for comprehensive, year-round training programs becomes increasingly critical. The association has since archived the webcast and presentation materials on its website to support ongoing education, with the 14th annual event already scheduled for June 8, 2027.
