Los Angeles-based Lectron is pivoting beyond its core electric vehicle charging business to target the general automotive market, launching a 4000A portable jump starter capable of reviving completely dead 12V batteries in engines as large as 10.0L gas or 8.0L diesel units.

Technical specifications emphasize reliability under stress, featuring a 17-layer safety architecture designed to prevent reverse polarity and overheating. Beyond its primary function as a starter, the device offers 60W bi-directional USB-C charging for laptops and mobile electronics. The hardware is also built to withstand harsh road conditions, including vibration, humidity, and electrostatic discharge, complemented by an integrated emergency lighting system with SOS modes.
