The legal action, designated as Case No. 26STCV17359, centers on claims that the security firm maintained rigorous schedules that prevented employees from taking legally mandated breaks. According to the filing, staff members were frequently interrupted during off-duty meal periods to perform assigned tasks, effectively remaining on-call throughout their shifts. The suit further contends that the company failed to provide second meal breaks for employees working shifts exceeding ten hours.

Beyond break violations, the complaint lists a broad range of alleged failures under the California Labor Code, including the non-payment of minimum and overtime wages, failure to reimburse necessary business expenses, and the withholding of accurate itemized wage statements. Attorney Jackland Hom is representing the plaintiffs, seeking to address what the firm describes as a pattern of unfair employment practices. The lawsuit remains pending in court as the firm invites other affected employees to come forward.
