Kora Behavioral Health Opens Outpatient Facility in Lancaster

Residents across Central Pennsylvania now have access to a new clinical resource as Kora Behavioral Health began accepting admissions for substance use and mental health treatment on June 5. The facility aims to bridge local gaps in care by providing specialized outpatient programming directly within Lancaster County.

The center offers a tiered clinical structure, ranging from Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs to standard services and medication-assisted treatment. This model allows patients to transition between levels of intensity while remaining integrated with their daily professional and family lives. Clinical staff utilize evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and EMDR, all framed through a trauma-informed lens.

CEO David BiFulco stated that the organization intends to provide care that meets patients within their own communities, addressing a regional shortage that frequently forces individuals to endure long waitlists or travel significant distances for support. Beyond general services, the center provides gender-specific programming, LGBTQ+ affirming care, and a specialized track for executives and professionals. Each patient follows an individualized plan developed by a multidisciplinary team to address co-occurring disorders and personal histories. To facilitate access, the admissions team verifies benefits with most major commercial insurance carriers, and the center is currently coordinating with local referral partners.
