Marco Setti’s SpotInvest adds further reach into the food and service automation sectors. These new shareholders join an existing roster of backers including Comat, Datalogic, and the Cysero fund. For company leadership, the move is critical to establishing a foothold in the U.S. market, where Oversonic has already opened offices in Cincinnati and Los Angeles. The goal is to evolve from a specialized scale-up into a global player in cognitive robotics, positioning RoBee as an infrastructure-level solution rather than a prototype. With a multidisciplinary team of 70 professionals, Oversonic is currently prioritizing the integration of artificial intelligence systems that allow its robots to operate safely alongside human operators in real-world settings.
