The rankings arrive as organizations increasingly prioritize in-person collaboration, pushing event planners to seek locations that offer more than just a convention center. According to Elizabeth Von Tersch, senior travel editor at U.S. News, modern attendees now expect a blend of business utility and local exploration. This shift toward "bleisure" travel has favored cities with robust transportation, dining options, and accessible cultural attractions.

Las Vegas secured its No. 1 position through a combination of massive hotel inventory and recent renovations to its convention infrastructure. Chicago followed in second place, cited for its walkability and the largest convention center in North America, while Orlando rounded out the top three by leaning into its extensive hospitality and recreational assets. Marriott International’s Marquis properties dominated the hotel category, securing top positions across the leading conference hubs, with Hilton and Hyatt also maintaining a significant presence in the final rankings.
