Steven Strongwater Joins PrescriberPoint as Chief Medical Officer
Steven Strongwater, M.D., has been appointed chief medical officer at PrescriberPoint, a Boston-based firm deploying AI to streamline medication access. The veteran executive, formerly CEO of Atrius Health, will oversee clinical strategy as the company scales its automated tools to reduce administrative friction for healthcare providers.
At PrescriberPoint, Strongwater will bridge the gap between technical development and bedside practice. CEO Dan Cornwell noted that the hire is intended to ensure the platform’s innovations remain anchored in real-world clinical requirements. Strongwater, who was recognized as one of Modern Healthcare’s Top 50 Healthcare Executives in 2020, plans to focus on reducing the administrative burden that currently diverts providers from patient care.
