The new storefront at 711 S Coast Highway serves as a homecoming for Cobb, who grew up in Orange County. Inside, the shop blends California coastal influences with the brand's signature bohemian-Western style. Customers can customize wool, straw, or foam hats at two handcrafted wood-and-mosaic bars, using accessories sourced from global markets. The space also features vintage decor and Moroccan rugs, much of which Cobb sourced from Southern California flea markets.
Texas-Based Flea Style Brings Its Signature Hat Bar to Laguna Beach
Steps from the Pacific, a 500-square-foot wood-clad cottage is becoming the latest outpost for the Texas-born lifestyle brand Flea Style. Founder Brittany Cobb is bringing her experiential hat bar and vintage-Western aesthetic to Laguna Beach on July 15, marking the company’s 10th location nationwide.
Beyond the hat bar, the shop stocks a curated selection of apparel, jewelry, and home goods. Cobb, who recently authored "How to Style a Hat" with a foreword by Miranda Lambert, views these accessories as tools for personal expression rather than temporary fashion trends. This expansion follows a period of growth for the brand, which has built a following among country music stars and celebrities by prioritizing craftsmanship over mass-produced retail.
