New Era Launches Knicks Championship Collection After 50-Year Wait

After a half-century drought, the New York Knicks have captured the NBA title, prompting an immediate commemorative release from New Era. The official cap provider of the league debuted a dedicated championship collection today, featuring the same headwear worn by players during the postgame ceremony and the victory parade.

Tim Shanahan, Senior Director of Licensed Products at New Era, described the championship as a milestone etched into the franchise’s legacy. The collection is designed for both the players and the fanbase that waited decades for the title. Fans can now purchase the 2025-26 Finals Champs Locker Room 9FIFTY snapback, which features a white crown, black visor, and gold threading, alongside the Larry O’Brien Trophy insignia.

Beyond the locker room gear, New Era is offering several silhouettes—including the 39THIRTY, 9FORTY M-Crown, 9TWENTY, and 9SEVENTY Stretch-Snap—all adorned with a specific 25-26 Champions side patch. These items are available at the company’s website and the brand's flagship store at 300 Lafayette Street in New York City.
