R3 Printing Exits Eight-Year Stealth Mode with Industrial Systems

After eight years of quiet development, Los Angeles-based R3 Printing has officially entered the industrial 3D printing market. The company confirmed the launch of its flagship R3 Printer and announced that the more capable R3 Printer Ultra model is scheduled to begin shipping to customers on August 31, 2026.

R3 Printing Exits Eight-Year Stealth Mode with Industrial Systems

Co-founders Paul Sieradzki and Petra Wood established the company after years of running a 3D printing service, an experience that exposed the functional shortcomings of existing hardware. Rather than following industry trends focused on rapid venture capital growth, the founders spent nearly a decade engineering systems designed specifically for high-frequency production environments. Their development process prioritized long-term reliability and operational efficiency over the marketing-led feature sets common in the additive manufacturing sector.

By manufacturing its systems entirely within the United States, R3 aims to address the needs of domestic manufacturers seeking robust, low-friction production tools. While the standard R3 Printer is currently in use, the upcoming Ultra variant is intended to handle more demanding industrial applications. The company maintains that its focus on manufacturing excellence, rather than speculative scaling, remains the core driver for its entry into a competitive market.
