More than 60 athletes have punched their tickets to the Games of the Future 2026 following five intense days of competition in Astana. The Phygital Contenders event saw over 200 participants from 20 countries push the boundaries of hybrid sport, blending digital precision with high-stakes physical performance in three distinct disciplines.

The Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace served as the battleground for Phygital Football, where ACF x Allur secured their qualification spot. Alongside them, NS team, KMF Titograd, and FC OLYMPIC PHYGITAL earned their places after navigating a grueling series of group and knockout stages. Meanwhile, at the Alau Ice Palace, ZM NITUI dominated the Phygital Basketball bracket with an unbeaten run. They will be joined at the upcoming Games by MINSK, Valencia Basket, and Triada.

In the dance arena, Andres Guardo outperformed the field to claim the title, citing a mental transformation as his key to success. Runner-up Sagdi and finalists Susan Huertas and Sergio Mayta also secured their advancement. With four spots per discipline now locked, organizers will finalize the remaining two qualification slots in the coming weeks based on total season rankings.

John Hewitt, International Marketing & Communications Director at Phygital International, noted that these results provide a clear signal of the talent pool ahead of the main event. Astana will host the Games of the Future 2026 from July 29 to August 9, where more than 800 participants will compete for a prize pool exceeding US$4 million across eight disciplines.
