The study for CT0596, which targets BCMA, involved eight heavily pretreated patients with multiple myeloma or primary plasma cell leukemia. Researchers reported no grade 3 or higher cytokine release syndrome, neurotoxicity, or graft-versus-host disease. With a median follow-up of nearly seven months, six patients maintained clinical responses. Notably, all participants achieved MRD negativity at a sensitivity of 10⁻⁶ within four weeks of the effective infusion, demonstrating the potential of the company's proprietary THANK-u Plus platform.
CARsgen Reports Positive Allogeneic CAR T-cell Trial Results at EHA 2026
At the 2026 European Hematology Association congress, CARsgen Therapeutics unveiled clinical data for its allogeneic CAR T-cell candidates, CT0596 and CT1190B. The results highlight promising efficacy and safety profiles for patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma and B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, signaling a potential shift in cell therapy accessibility.

Simultaneously, data for the CD19/CD20-targeted CT1190B showed an objective response rate of 91.7% among 12 evaluable patients with B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. The treatment demonstrated robust expansion, with pharmacokinetic measurements at the highest dose level significantly exceeding those of currently approved autologous products. CARsgen plans to transition these assets into Phase Ib clinical trials later this year, aiming to address unmet needs in hematologic malignancies and autoimmune conditions.
