Externally, the Pocket 4 is nearly indistinguishable from the 2023 Pocket 3, sharing similar dimensions and the signature rotating screen. DJI has introduced two additional buttons beneath the display, which provide welcome shortcuts for zoom and customizable functions, though the interface remains reliant on a 2-inch touchscreen that can feel cumbersome during quick adjustments.
DJI Osmo Pocket 4: A Refined Evolution for Vloggers
The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 arrives as a polished, iterative upgrade to the company's popular vlogging camera line, packing a superior sensor, expanded internal storage, and improved battery life. While the device maintains the familiar compact form factor of its predecessor, it remains conspicuously absent from the United States market.

Under the hood, the hardware receives a substantial overhaul. The 1-inch sensor now captures 37-megapixel stills and offers 14 stops of dynamic range, alongside a boosted low-light ISO ceiling of 25,600. Video capabilities are equally enhanced, with 4K recording now supporting a 4x zoom crop and slow-motion capture reaching 240fps. Perhaps most practical for daily use is the addition of 107GB of internal storage, effectively removing the immediate need for external microSD cards. Despite these gains, the gimbal hardware remains largely unchanged, providing reliable stabilization that excels in handheld vlogging but falls short of dedicated action camera performance during high-intensity movement.
