VIO Med Spa Targets Phoenix Metro for Arizona Expansion

VIO Med Spa is officially entering the Arizona market, with two franchise agreements set to bring its physician-guided aesthetic treatments to the Phoenix area. The brand’s first state location opens November 11 at The Switchyard in Queen Creek, followed by a second site in Scottsdale scheduled for 2027.

The expansion is spearheaded by two local husband-and-wife ownership teams, each leveraging deep expertise in healthcare leadership and business management. Cynthia and Jeff Ballantyne will oversee the Queen Creek site. Cynthia, a former managing director at Alera Group, brings extensive experience in operations and risk management, while Jeff contributes over three decades of franchise ownership history. Their location at The Switchyard will feature a dedicated team of nurse practitioners and estheticians to manage daily guest care.

In Scottsdale, William Grambley and Katherine Barton are leading the development. Grambley, a Navy veteran and former CEO of AllazoHealth, joins forces with Barton, a Scottsdale native with two decades of experience in medical coding and real estate. The pair intends to apply their combined professional backgrounds to the medical aesthetics sector, focusing on the guest experience.

These openings follow a period of significant growth for the Nashville-based franchise, which recently earned a spot on the 2026 Franchise Times Top 400. With 19 new franchise owners signed in the first nine months of 2026, the company continues to refine its business model, introducing a streamlined store design and a recurring revenue membership program known as ClubVIO. The brand, currently operating 65 locations across 20 states, reported a $1.3 million average unit volume in 2025.
