Microsoft Unveils Pocket-Sized Xbox Nano Controller

The controller retains the complete button layout found on standard Xbox models while integrating both Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth connectivity. This allows for seamless transitions between console play, tablets, PCs, and mobile devices. Unlike its full-sized counterparts, the Nano eliminates the need for AA batteries or external charging packs by featuring a built-in rechargeable power source.

Microsoft has also introduced a programmable Action Button on the device, enabling users to map shortcuts for tasks like gameplay capture or taking screenshots. While early leaks suggested the inclusion of a status screen for connectivity, the final shipping model omits this feature. Pre-orders are open now, with the first units scheduled to ship in November.
