AEVEX Corp. Investors Face October 20 Deadline in Securities Lawsuit

Investors who purchased AEVEX Corp. shares during the company's April 2026 initial public offering are facing an October 20 deadline to join a class action lawsuit. The complaint alleges the military technology firm misled shareholders by concealing a plan to bypass a 180-day lock-up agreement on major stock holdings.

The lawsuit, filed by the firm Robbins LLP, targets AEVEX Corp. (NYSE: AVEX) regarding stock activity between April 17 and June 4, 2026. Plaintiffs claim the company represented that its primary shareholder, the Chicago-based private equity firm Madison, would be restricted from selling its shares for 180 days. Instead, AEVEX allegedly coordinated with underwriters to authorize a secondary offering shortly after the IPO.

Following the announcement of this secondary offering on June 1, 2026, the company’s stock price dropped 16%, erasing $700 million in market capitalization. A subsequent 7% decline occurred on June 5, 2026, after the final prospectus was filed. The complaint asserts that Madison secured over $200 million through the secondary sale, while underwriters collected more than $8 million in fees. Investors seeking to serve as lead plaintiff in the litigation must contact Robbins LLP before the October 20 cutoff.
