The Langangen facility, operational since December 2025, serves as a cornerstone of the deal. By merging Impruv’s local infrastructure with its own, Constellation aims to enhance its supply chain capabilities across the region. Jan Nielsen, Managing Director of Constellation’s Nordic division, noted that the acquisition offers more than just expanded storage, citing the team’s specific expertise in food logistics as a primary driver for the partnership.
Constellation Cold Logistics Expands Nordic Footprint in Norway
With the acquisition of Impruv Logistics AS, Constellation Cold Logistics has added 25,000 temperature-controlled pallet positions to its Norwegian network. This move bolsters the company’s regional capacity to 90,000 positions, integrating a strategic cold storage facility in Langangen to serve food producers and distributors across the Nordics.

For Impruv, the transaction provides the scale necessary for future development. CEO Morten Hagen Vanneviken emphasized that the alignment with Constellation allows the business to maintain its focus on customer-driven logistics while accessing broader European resources. Following the deal, the combined teams will integrate their local market knowledge to streamline operations within Constellation’s network, which currently spans ten countries and exceeds 1.2 million pallet positions.
