The 2026 roster spans 25 countries, with technology firms accounting for 26 of the 100 spots. Health care and financial services follow, represented by 17 and 15 companies respectively. While over a third of the listed organizations are European operations of U.S.-based giants, the ranking also captures significant shifts in workplace culture, with a third of the companies appearing on the list for the first time. Six of these newcomers secured positions directly within the top 25.
Notable momentum was observed among established players, with TD Synnex achieving the list's most significant ascent by climbing 62 places to reach number 32. Other companies, including Pluxee, Volkswagen Financial Services, Trek Bicycle, and Reitan, also saw double-digit gains in their rankings. Grethe Schepers, Lists Director Europe at Fortune, attributed the success of these organizations to their commitment to trust and a people-first culture during a period of ongoing market disruption.
