Under the terms of the separation, Corteva stockholders of record at the close of business on September 24 will receive one share of Vylor common stock for every share of Corteva held. The distribution is scheduled to occur before the market opens on October 1, with Vylor expected to begin regular-way trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol VYLR that same morning.
Corteva Sets October 1 Spin-off Date for Vylor
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has cleared the path for Vylor to become an independent entity, approving the company’s registration statement. This regulatory milestone sets the stage for Corteva to finalize the spin-off of its seed and genetics business, which is slated for completion on October 1, 2026.

Corteva has confirmed there will be no when-issued or ex-distribution trading leading up to the official launch. The approved Form 10 filing provides a detailed roadmap of Vylor’s business strategy, which focuses on leveraging its century-long history in elite germplasm and biotech to enhance crop yields globally. While Corteva remains a broad-based agriculture firm, the separation aims to sharpen the strategic focus for both companies as they navigate their respective roles in the food and fuel supply chain.
