Pathé Cinémas and CJ 4DPLEX Expand Immersive ScreenX Network
Four new ScreenX auditoriums are coming to France, Belgium, and the Netherlands by the end of 2026, marking a significant expansion of the partnership between CJ 4DPLEX and European exhibitor Pathé Cinémas. The deal underscores a shift toward 270-degree panoramic cinema as a standard for premium moviegoing experiences.
Don Savant, Chief Business Officer at CJ 4DPLEX, described Europe as a strategically vital market for the company’s growth. Laure de Boissard, Managing Director of Pathé Cinémas, noted that the expansion is a logical progression of their joint commitment to premium cinema. With Pathé currently operating 1,308 screens across its global footprint, this move aims to solidify the presence of immersive technology in three of the continent's most active markets.
