Vivo X500 Pro Max Debuts With LOFIC Sensor and 4K240 Video

The core of the Pro Max model is Sony’s LOFIC-enabled sensor technology, which allows the 50-megapixel, 1/1.28-inch-type chip to capture a claimed 17 EV of dynamic range. This high-end optics suite is complemented by the return of the 200-megapixel, 3.7x telephoto lens previously seen on the X300 Ultra, maintaining compatibility with the 400mm teleconverter.

Performance is anchored by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro, a 2nm chip that enables 4K recording at 240fps alongside 10bit Log support. The lineup spans three sizes, from the 6.36-inch X500 to the expansive 6.85-inch Pro Max, all housing large silicon-carbon batteries ranging up to 8,000mAh. While currently restricted to the Chinese market, Vivo plans a global release for the series, though specific timing remains unannounced.
