Technological advancement in Silicon Valley is currently outpacing the ability to monetize it. While AI capabilities expand, they also become more accessible to rivals, eroding the window of differentiation and driving up innovation costs. Kmind argues that the solution lies in shifting focus from raw technological output to a strategy defined by customer perception.
Kmind Consulting Brings Eastern Strategy Framework to Silicon Valley
At the Computer History Museum on September 18, Kmind Consulting became the first Chinese strategy firm to host an executive program in the heart of Silicon Valley. CEO Noah Xie presented a framework designed to help over 100 gathered technology leaders bridge the gap between rapid product development and sustainable business value.

The firm’s proprietary 'Next Generation Strategy' blends Eastern and Western business theories, prioritizing how consumer insight informs operations and go-to-market decisions. To demonstrate, the program highlighted the transformation of Chinese brands like Bosideng and Feihe. By repositioning these companies to align their core products with specific customer values, both achieved dominant market positions. Noah Xie contends that for modern tech firms, the hurdle is no longer building better models, but embedding technological advantages into a structure that competitors cannot easily replicate. Russell Flannery, former Editor-in-Chief of Forbes China, noted the framework provides a rare, necessary perspective for firms struggling to navigate the current AI era.
