TPG AG Consortium Secures $628 Million Industrial Real Estate Portfolio
A consortium led by TPG AG has finalized a $628 million acquisition of a 53-building industrial portfolio, spanning 5.4 million square feet across seven states. Legal counsel from Greenberg Traurig steered the transaction, which focuses heavily on distribution and logistics hubs situated throughout the American Southeast.
Michael J. Baum, Co-Chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Global Real Estate Practice, spearheaded the multioffice legal team that facilitated the closing. He noted that the acquisition highlights the consortium's capacity to identify high-value opportunities within competitive industrial sectors. The legal team included shareholders Farah S. Ahmed, Timothy W. Donovan, Harrison S. Kleinman, Andrew J. Towbin, Michael J. Larson, Gavin M. Loughlin, and Benjamin A. Householder.
