Genesis Expands Bay Area Footprint with San Bruno Facility

The San Francisco Peninsula now hosts a new standalone Genesis retail center, marking the 85th such facility to open nationwide. Operated by the Cardinale Automotive Group, the San Bruno location aims to anchor the luxury brand’s presence in Northern California through a focus on high-end service and local community investment.

Tedros Mengiste, chief operating officer of Genesis Motor North America, described the expansion as a strategic move to reach a demographic that prioritizes innovation and design. The new dealership joins an existing network of California-based sites, including locations in Corona and Mountain View, all managed by the Cardinale group. Dealer Principal Christian Pullara stated that the facility is designed to deliver the personalized ownership experience expected by the brand’s clientele.

To mark the launch, the company directed $35,000 in charitable contributions to local organizations. The Genesis Inspiration Foundation awarded $25,000 to the Peninsula Girls Chorus, while the Genesis Gives initiative provided $10,000 to the San Bruno AYSO Region 249. These donations align with the manufacturer's broader philanthropic goal of supporting youth arts and athletics, a program that has distributed over $3 million to nonprofits across the United States since 2022. The new showroom features a layout intended to reflect the brand's signature Korean-inspired hospitality, offering a dedicated space for the company's full current lineup of sedans and SUVs.
