The upcoming presentations, scheduled for September 12–15, focus on two core developments for the sunvozertinib-based treatment. Prof. Chang Chen will detail efficacy and safety results from a study evaluating the drug as an adjuvant treatment for resected stage IB-IIIB non-small cell lung cancer patients harboring EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations. Preliminary observations indicate a manageable safety profile, prompting the initiation of a randomized pivotal study.
Dizal to Unveil ZEGFROVY Data at WCLC 2026 in Seoul
Dizal will present new clinical data for its EGFR inhibitor ZEGFROVY at the 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer in Seoul, highlighting its potential in early-stage disease and combination therapies. The findings arrive as the company moves to expand the drug's reach beyond its current status as a later-line treatment.

Simultaneously, Prof. Yongchang Zhang is set to provide updated Phase 2 data on the use of ZEGFROVY in combination with Anlotinib. This chemotherapy-free regimen is being investigated as a first-line treatment for patients with EGFR-sensitizing and co-mutations, showing consistent anti-tumor activity. These disclosures coincide with Dizal’s ongoing efforts to secure first-line approval for ZEGFROVY, with applications currently under review by both the U.S. FDA and China’s CDE. The company’s broader strategic landscape remains in flux following a July agreement to grant AstraZeneca global development and commercialization rights, a transaction expected to conclude by the end of 2026.
