The Manta represents Genki’s first internally developed controller, moving beyond previous partnerships. Under the hood, a Raspberry Pi RP2350 microcontroller powers an interface that allows users to calibrate thumbstick dead zones, haptic intensity, and button sensitivity without needing external software. These adjustments are managed directly through the onboard display, which provides a level of profile management usually reserved for desktop applications.
Hardware enthusiasts will find the "tristage" triggers particularly notable. Unlike standard dual-mode triggers, these offer a third middle-ground setting designed to facilitate rapid-fire inputs. The face buttons are equally customizable, with adjustable travel depth to dictate exactly when a press registers. With drift-resistant TMR thumbsticks, a 2,600mAh user-replaceable battery, and six extra remappable buttons, the Manta targets players who treat their peripheral as a precision instrument rather than a disposable accessory.
