Exiger Joins New American Industrial Alliance to Map Mineral Scarcity

Supply chain AI firm Exiger has partnered with the New American Industrial Alliance to launch a comprehensive survey on critical minerals. The initiative aims to identify specific industrial gaps and supply chain vulnerabilities, directly following the White House’s recent executive order on securing defense materials and domestic production.

The collaboration introduces the "Ground Truth" survey, which seeks to measure actual industrial demand against current domestic and allied supply capacities. By analyzing specific grades, alloys, and purity levels, the project intends to pinpoint exactly where reshoring goals fail to align with existing sourcing capabilities. This data-driven approach is designed to help companies identify hidden exposures within their supply networks.

"We have seen global bad actors attempt to weaponize the periodic table," said Derek Lemke, Senior Vice President at Exiger. The survey results will form a research report powered by the 1EXIGER.AI platform, intended to guide federal buyers, investors, and policymakers in directing capital toward reindustrialization. Micah Murphy, Senior Vice President at NAIA, noted that Exiger’s procurement automation and domain expertise are essential to securing these high-stakes supply chains. The final findings are scheduled for public release on September 16, 2026, during the New Industrial Age Forum in Washington, DC.
