Net income attributable to the company dropped to RMB247.8 million, down from RMB415.7 million in the second quarter of 2025. Autohome Reports Declining Revenue and Profit for Second Quarter 2026
Autohome Inc. reported a significant downturn in its second-quarter 2026 financial results, with net revenues falling to RMB1.198 billion from RMB1.758 billion during the same period last year. The decline reflects weaker performance across the company’s core lead generation and online marketplace segments amid shrinking automotive sales volumes.

Chief Executive Officer Chi Liu highlighted recent strategic moves, including the launch of the 'Autohome Good Car' offline franchise chain and the public beta of 'Cheese Car Butler,' a proprietary AI agent designed to capture a larger share of the evolving automotive tech market. To signal confidence in long-term value, the board completed a US$200 million share repurchase program in July and has already authorized a new US$400 million buyback plan for the coming year.
