The transaction, which closed in May 2026, utilized a newly formed entity called Pin High Golf to house the asset. Since its 2008 founding in Yorktown, Virginia, MyGolfSpy has established itself through a proprietary testing framework, utilizing five simulators and a network of 300 volunteer testers to influence industry standards. Adam Beach will remain as founder and CEO, steering the company as it integrates with the operational support provided by its new backers.
MyGolfSpy Secures Investment to Build Independent Golf Media Platform
The acquisition of MyGolfSpy by Graham Sports & Entertainment Partners and Bolt Ventures marks a pivot toward a new, independent golf media ecosystem. By leveraging the capital of David Blitzer’s family office, the deal aims to scale the equipment testing brand into a broader platform for data, commerce, and experiences.

Logan Abner, founder of WeBrokr, served as the exclusive sell-side advisor and noted the complexity of the deal. He pointed to a disconnect in the market where traditional digital media buyers lacked golf-specific expertise, while golf-industry players struggled to value digital assets. Shervin Mirhashemi, CEO of GSE, identified MyGolfSpy as the anchor for a long-term strategy to aggregate data and audience engagement. David Blitzer echoed this sentiment, labeling the company a category-defining brand with the potential to scale significantly through the Pin High Golf vehicle.
