The partnership allows utilities to deploy third-party applications directly onto the grid edge, moving away from traditional infrastructure limitations toward a more flexible, app-driven model. By leveraging the Revelo sensing technology, network operators can now integrate advanced analytics to manage the growing complexity of modern distribution grids.
Landis+Gyr Adds Future Grid and OTS to Australian Edge Ecosystem
As distributed energy resources complicate power management, Landis+Gyr is expanding its Australian Edge App Ecosystem by integrating Future Grid and Operational Technology Solutions. The move aims to provide utilities with deeper real-time visibility and AI-driven analytics, enabling faster operational decisions across the company’s Revelo grid sensing platform.

Future Grid contributes a SaaS platform that translates massive datasets into actionable risk matrices for grid operators, while Operational Technology Solutions brings expertise in edge sensors and automated data insights. These additions join a growing roster of partners—including Sense and Mitsubishi Electric—designed to accelerate digital transformation. According to David Maclean, Senior Vice President for APAC at Landis+Gyr, the goal is to shift toward a collaborative, open-platform approach that makes energy networks more resilient and data-responsive.
